Krishna’s Cows in New Vrajamandala

Preface

This book is the fruit of the inspiration of Arjuna Dasa (Alberto), who had the fervent desire to make known throughout the world the glories of Krishna’s cows in New Vrajamandala. He cared for them for 20 years, giving them all his love, not only to them but also to all who are or have been part of this project, known as Rupa Goshala —the non-violent goshala in Spain.

The book is mainly a compilation of stories, adventures, and challenges that took place among the cows of Rupa Goshala and their cowherds; therefore, it is imbued with the sweet love that radiates from Krishna’s cows.

It is my sincere desire to glorify them, along with their cowherds, because, although we find ourselves in this material world, which is a place of suffering, in the company of cows we can experience transcendental situations in which hearts overflow with joy.

I have tried to transmit with the greatest possible fidelity the events that occurred in the transcendental and mystical Rupa Goshala, where we these magical stories took place.

I hope readers can delight in the emotions that may arise from intimate contact with Krishna’s cows. This close relationship established between Krishna, the cows, the cowherds, and the reader has the potential to inspire us to become aware of the importance of cow protection in society. To care for and protect these kind beings is a source of true peace and prosperity.
